To be in a relationship is to finally be validated as a grown woman
It is to be called by your boyfriend’s name as if your own didn’t matter anymore
It is to avoid doing anything unusual for fear someone will say you’ve changed because of him
It is to hide all sexual desires because a christian woman should just not have any
It is to lose your identity for his in the eyes of some
And to gain a new one in the eyes of others
